Andrés Suárez Romero

Andres has 10 years of legal experience. He joined Aroca Vives Abogados in 2018. His practice focuses on corporate law, including M&A, commercial contracts, negotiation and conflict resolution, and family and business wealth management.

Andres has provided advice to multiple clients and families in complex corporate reorganizations, with a focus on restructuring and asset protection through robust corporate governance schemes that also include succession planning regimes.

Additionally, he has extensive experience in company acquisitions and sales, corporate conflicts, and representation of shareholders and board members in meetings. He also advises clients to provide support in the legal and contractual structuring of different lines of business within companies.

His experience spans a wide range of sectors, including construction, agriculture, media, technology and startups, private security, ports, and real estate development.

He is a lawyer from the Universidad del Norte, with postgraduate degrees in Taxation and Corporate Law from the same university. He has also been a lecturer and panelist at regional and national conferences regarding M&A, corporate law, and tax law.

He is fluent in English.
