The lawyer Felipe Aroca, an expert in pension issues, considered that the decision of the Constitutional Court to modify the way in which the process for citizens to change from the private regime to Colpensiones will be carried out, generates a legal commotion.

He explained that now a judge will be in charge of requesting evidence to study each case.

Felipe Aroca noted that the determination of the Constitutional Court is a consequence of the study of 25 tutelas; and considered that from now on it will be somewhat difficult for a person to switch to Colpensiones.

However, he clarified that those who are already in the public regime through a tutela are already in court cases and cannot be reversed.
